Jumper - AWear
Dress - Topshop
Hey ladies and gents! Well today has been an epic day! I pretty much spent the whole day with two of my best friends and favourite people in the world, Lauren and Maddie. Group,(our youth group) decided they were going paintballing and today was the day they went. None of us really fancied getting shot at by teenage boys (and girls) with paintball guns getting trigger happy, and just generally getting hurt. So we had an uber movie, pizza and catch up day. It was awesome to just sit and have a good chat, and watch films and eat crap with two of my favourite people. The last few weeks have been really hard and long, so it was exactly what I needed, and couldn't have been anymore therapeutic and lovely. We indulged at least three of our favourite things today, Disney, Christmas and food! We ended up watching Lion king and Home Alone, and ordered what felt like the biggest feast from Dominoes. I really do love my girls! And am so thankful for amazing days like today. Oh, and we managed to get a rather normal and smiley picture before returning to our crazy ways.
Home Alone is in my opinion THE best Christmas film ever! It has hilarity and heart in bucket loads, and never ever fails to make me chuckle. I embraced this Christmas spirit and pulled out my bright red AWear jumper, that I got around this time last year. Its the perfect item for adding some Christmas sparkle and colour to your outfit. Its a bit of an odd length but I just decided to embrace it, and use it to my advantage today. Its great for the winter weather as its the perfect thickness to wear something underneath without it being really uncomfortable or annoying. So today I did just that, I popped my old topshop dress (here) underneath and off I went. I love the pattern on my dress, and the black, cream and baby pink colours match perfectly with the bright red of my jumper. Its also awesome when you find completely new ways to wear things, like I did today with these!
What did you do today? Have you ever been paintballing? Whats your favourite Christmas film? Have you got a Christmassy jumper?
Love and cuddles
