Hey Ladies and gents! Hope you've had a good week! Mine's mostly consisted of me being ill, I didn't go to college on Wednesday and came home early today because of it. It sucks being ill! At the moment it seems like nearly EVERYONE i know is ill or has been. Which is sad!
But anyway, its Group tonight, and then me and my parents are going to the Bull Ring and Birmingham Christmas market on Sunday! Which I'm mega mega looking forward too! Can't wait! If any of you lovelies have been to Birmingham Christmas market this year and done a blog post on it, then let me know in the comments, cause I'd love to check your post out! Oh and next week I only have to go in to College for 4 days, which is uber awesome! So hopefully the next few days/weeks will be better than this week!
For those of you who've been following me for a while, you may remember my 'new academic years resolutions' post in September. (here) This year I decided to make my new years resolutions, at the beginning of the new academic year! (I explained in the post) And tbh I've actually kept to them! There's a first for everything, i guess.
One of my three resolutions was to learn to knit and I told you guys about the first project I wanted to do. Well that first project is here and done (kinda). I wanted to make a blanket, and decided on a pink and lilac checker board design/look. And well as you can see above, it's finally done! Or kind of anyhow. Over the last 3 and a half months, all my spare time or the weekend evenings watching the x-factor, Merlin and Downton has been accompanied by knitting! And once you know how it's so flipping relaxing! Which is great for an already pretty stressed out, tired and exhausted a level student! And well, I'm pretty proud of myself and what I've done! But as I said, it's only, kinda finished. My mum put all the squares I'd completed together, but it's not the size I want just yet. So over the next few weeks and months, I'm gonna continue knitting squares, and then slowly add them to the blanket, until it's the size I want. But I'm so happy with how it looks and how far I've come, as just under 3 months ago I couldn't knit and didn't think I'd be able to get the knack of it! But I did! Woop! Once it's completely finished I'll take some more pictures and show you guys! But I just thought I'd show you what it looked like so far!
Now I didn't really know what to put for the name of this post, and on the way home I had a thought. I bet Mrs Santa Claus know's how to knit, it sounds like something Mrs Claus would know how to do anyhow. (I think about some weird things sometimes) But hey presto the name was born! Oh yeah, and YES I am wearing my pajamas in these pictures! I am unashamedly one of those people, who as soon as they walk through the door run to to put there PJ's on! They're the most comfortable things I own, i love jamas to bits!
Do you spend a lot of time in your PJ's? Have you been to Birmingham Christmas Market? Can you knit?
Love and cuddles
