The Hockley Arts Club is a new restaurant & bar emporium hidden away in the back streets of Nottingham. It houses three different spaces; a bar, a cocktail & restaurant hide away and a gin & Prosecco lounge. It really is as cool as it sounds! I'd visited for cocktails at the beginning of the year, so after falling in love with the place me and my parents headed down for lunch on Mothers day (i know, i know it's taken me a while to get this up)
As I promised last year I'm making the effort to share more of my fabulous food discoveries with you guys in case you ever need food recommendations in the cities I've had the chance to visit!
The Hockley Arts Club really is an incredible place, and their cocktails are to die for (check them out on the insta hashtag here) There food is also fantastic, so I thought I'd share my thoughts and pictures with you guys because if you're ever in Nottingham or the Midlands this is a place you Have to check out!
They have a killer lunch menu at The Hockley Arts Club! Both me and my mum had their posh fish fingers with chips and then my dad had their steak sandwich with skin on fries. All of which was tasty as heck! I then also had a magical chocolate orange brownie to top it all off! As I mentioned before the cocktails are legendary, the one I had this time is called Stewed, Screwed & Tattooed and comes with your very own Hockley Arts Club temporary tattoo. Other of their cocktails come with ice lollies, polariod's and more - it's a creative cocktail lovers dream!
I couldn't recommend The Hockley Arts Club enough, so as I said if you're ever in Notts or the Midlands it's somewhere that should be at the top of your list to visit! It's a tad difficult to find as it's tucked down an alley the entrance to which is in between a charity shop and dry cleaners - but finding it is half the fun!
