And all the voices surrounding us here

Tuesday 5 April 2016

The third month of 2016 is done and gone! Over 3 months in already?
How, what, when?
I think I say that pretty much every month though, aha! But March went by so so fast! If I'm honest I can't really remember when it begun, and what happened in a lot of March. I'm not too sure if that's a good or bad sign though, but ahh well.
What I do remember is that there was a lot of good food, the birthdays of some amazing friends, lots of dreaming and one fabulous holiday!
As always today we're taking a walk down March 2016's memory lane in the form of my Instagram snaps. I'm always posting on Insta so if you want to see what I get up to on a weekly or often daily basis I'm holljc over there too!
When long stressful days hit Spanky Van Dikes  is the only answer for me & the partner in food eating crime! /  So much love for this outfit, such a gorgeous look /  /  Instant photos no. 1356, 1357, 1358 /  Happy Mothers day to my favourite person on the planet! You love me, encourage me, laugh with me, support me, listen to me and champion me. You're strong, courageous, kind, beautiful, loving and totally the best! I love you to the moon and back /  Today's new blog post features this rather pretty 'n' pink outfit, although I'd probs freeze to death if I wore it at the moment, bring on the warmer weather please!
Can't get over how fantastic my chocolate orange brownie was at The Hockley Arts Club on Saturday! It's the coolest place with some absolutely incredible food! /  Happy international women's day to each and every one of you fierce, strong, beautiful, kind, fabulous, sassy and passionate ladies! Lets build each other up, not tare each other down! We were not made to walk this life alone, together we're stronger /  /  When you're half way through a seminar and Laura starts sending you pictures of puppies /  Sushi + friends = the perfect combination! Happy Birthday George /  When it turns out theres an ice cream parlour less than a 5 minute walk down the road!
Today’s post is very different to what I normally create for my blog. Inspired and motivated by all the love, positivity and support expressed on International Women’s Day, I wrote a post entitled, End Girl Hate. I ask the question, why does all this goodness have to keep to one day a year? And what would happen if we all moved towards ending girl on girl hate? Women supporting, championing, loving and encouraging each other is a beautiful thing, and it leads to incredible things – so why is this not the norm for the majority of girls and women in this 21st century society? In my blog post today I discuss and mull over these ideas in the hope that maybe one day fierce female friendships will be a daily reality for all women /  The wanderlust is growing & growing. Would love to be adventuring and exploring and discovering all this beautiful world holds /  This mornings agenda before I have to go and do adult things /  Spring is my favourite. So, Mr Sun, if you would like to appear and stick around I would love it! /  Pudding Pantry with the gals before more work commences /  It's a rather beautiful day, so here's a pic of two rather beaut lil' Frenchies!
/  The most recent post up on the blog features my fave @topshop tee! Oh and some rather hopeful spring time stylin' /  This would be perfect right now. Bring on next week! So excited /  Reflecting on this term it has been a long, crazy & emotional adventure. Yet throughout it all I got todo it with this amazing family by my side. I'm so thankful for the endless love, joy, encouragement, enthusiasm & laughter these legends bring to my life - this term and my lil' world just wouldn't be the same without them /  Breakfast with dad Annies before heading back to the shire /  Candy floss sunsets for the first night in my most favourite place
/  Finished. Redeemed. Saved. Loved. Blessed. Thankful. Hopeful. Joyful / /  Blue sea, blue sky......this is perfect /  Who knew they made Frozen ice cream? I do now! /  So cute! It comes in my colour and everything!
Mr sun, sun. Mr golden sun, please shine down on me /  Pretty pastel skies to match pretty days /  Ice cream by the sea is always lovely / /  Lets go to the beach, lets get away /  Cocktails by the beach for our last day

So that's it. My March, all the little and big things that happened, in one form or another. I'm looking forwards to April, despite the rather very large amount of work I know I've got to get myself through. But as always I'm sure it I'll be filled with more smiles, friends, memories and of course good food! I'm praying those things or similar are in store for all of you too!

Love
God bless
