Bibbidi bobbidi boo...

Almost a month ago it was my birthday, and for the celebrations I had a little Disney themed tea party, post here. I decided I was going to make as many of the sweet treats as possible, all of which had Disney themed names or ideas behind them.

One of which was Fairy Godmother's wands, hence the post title! In reality these were marshmallows covered in white chocolate and sprinkles! It's making me hungry just thinking about them! I got the original idea from Louise's blog post, here. As my rainbow cupcake diy/recipe was so loved, (post here) I thought today I'd show you my way of making these really yummy but super simple chocolaty treats!
1. Collect the ingredients. You will need:
- Sprinkles
- Marshmallows
- White Chocolate
- Straws or sticks

2. Cut your straws or sticks in half, or to your desired length. If your sticks/straws are your preferred length already you can skip this step. I used these pastel paper straws from a recent Crafty Creatives box!
3. Empty your sprinkles or decorations into bowls.
4. Take your first marshmallow and push your first straw into the bottom (as shown above). Continue doing this until you have the amount you want. Make sure you give them a good shove, so that the marshmallows aren't at risk of falling off!

5. Break your chocolate into pieces and put into a bowl.
6. Melt your chocolate by your preferred method, until runny.
7. Dip the end of your marshmallow into your chocolate.
8. Dip the end of your marshmallow into your sprinkles.
9. Place in a cup or bowl.
10. Do this until you have the number you need, then place in the fridge.
11. If you have any marshmallows or melted chocolate left, then you can repeat the same process, but without the straws and then put onto a plate.

I over estimated the amount of white chocolate I'd need, I used up all the marshmallows and still had rather alot left. Meaning I got to eat all the leftover chocolate, and boy it was heaven!

These marshmallow treats went down a storm, and tasted incredible! They're so easy to make, and really easy to customise to your preference or need. They're also something that would be great fun to do with little ones too!

Let me know in the comments if you try them out, or tweet me (@Holl_JC)!

What do you think of this DIY? Do you like chocolate? Will you be trying them out?

Love and cuddles
God bless

This is a scheduled post, as I'm in Cyprus.
