Hey you!
Hope you've had a lovely day!
This was my outfit yesterday, and i know the name of the post is a tad confusing, because this outfit really isn't a riot! In any way, shape or form. But I'll get to that in a bit, promise!
So yeah, this was my outfit yesterday, and it was a pretty freaking crazy day! (the riot)And if you follow me on twitter or instagram, you may have seen/heard/gathered why.
I was on 'The Hunt'. At it's simplest 'The Hunt' was a scavenger hunt, but it was ten times more awesome and crazy and hilarious than your average scavenger hunt. There was 7 cars, 3.5 hours and an entire city; the rest was up to us.
We had a list of things to do or collect, ranging from 2-20 points; and the whole of our city to do/find them in. These things ranged from; a rock bigger than your hand to playing ringa ringa roses with strangers, from something rhyming with bring to singing the national anthem outside of our currently being built new bus station, from having a picture with and autograph from a member of tesco's staff to taking back to base a 'living thing'. And all manner of other weird, wacky and wonderful things in between. We really do have the best youth team (who's ages go from 18-24, so they're not really any older than the rest of us)
It was a pretty awesome yet insane day! If you follow me on instagram (holljc), then you may have seen a picture of a cute little fishy, here. Well that was our living thing! One of the guys in my team, decided he wanted to buy a fish. So off to pets at home we went, and a fish he did buy.
It really was as surreal as it sounds.
Earlier in the day, the two guys on my team, pretty much nearly got themselves arrested. Or one of them nearly got the two of them arrested anyway. As you had to go and try testers in a shop; so on the way out of boots one of them runs out shouting 'quick run, we've done it!' I know some absolute morons, they're awesome though. But luckily me and the other member of our team were in the car, so got to have a right laugh about it afterwards.
That's just a few of the crazy things we got up to, and that happened yesterday. I went home completely exhausted and laughed out; but I couldn't have asked for a better day really! Although I have to admit, it was one of the most surreal experiences of my life!

And this outfit was perfect! I needed something that I could run about in, and that wasn't going to get in the way of doing things (including climbing a cargo net) so this outfit was perf! Just simple and easy, but still totally me. I also needed a bag I could just pull things out of, and shove them back into with ease. Plus we were eating lunch on the move, so my satchel just wasn't big enough. So this bag came out of retirement, and it was perf! I absolutely love it, and really should use it more often! It's just so so pretty!
What did you do with your Sunday afternoon? Have you ever done anything like the hunt?
Oh, and remember if you want me to do another q&a 'about me' post, them pop your questions in the comments below!
